Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has backed the club's decision to highlight the lack of penalties they've been awarded this season.
A damning article on the club's website was written about the 'abnormally low' two spot kicks that Chelsea have been given in the League so far.
Mourinho declared: "You give so much importance to that article. I read it. It's just a very objective article. It's not an opinionated article, it's not something you can lead to discussion, it's just the numbers, no more than that.
"The numbers always tell the truth, how many goals this player scores, how many clean sheets a team has, how many assists a player made. There are no agendas, no intention.
"Sometimes you like stats of how many goals, assists, corners, how many this or that. The number of penalties every team has for or against is just another stat. It's not open to opinion, it's just the numbers."
