Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink is convinced by the quality of their youngsters.
So much so, that he is urging owner Roman Abramovich to show greater interest in the development work being done.
The Mail on Sunday says Hiddink invited Abramovich down to the training ground specifically for last week's friendly match against QPR and the Chelsea owner has been a frequent visitor to Cobham in the past two weeks.
It is understood Hiddink invited Abramovich down for the QPR game because he wanted to convince the owner of the quality the club has in its junior ranks and prepare for blooding some youngsters in the first team.
