Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink says Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has improved markedly from his days at Feyenoord.
Hiddink said: "Van Persie is very direct, and has developed himself into a very good player. I knew him from his Feyenoord period and wanted to sign him for PSV a few years ago.
"Then he made the choice to go to Arsenal, a normal choice to go to the Premier League," he reasoned. "He has learned a lot in the dressing room from for instance [Dennis] Bergkamp and the other players who were there when he was younger. He learned a lot, from what I can see in his play and his attitude."
