Chelsea boss Avram Grant is set to be active in the January market.

The Independent says Chelsea are looking for "three or four" new players according to Grant with a striker a top target. Other priorities are a creative midfielder - although Michael Ballack returns soon - and a right-back with Juliano Belletti unconvincing in what has been a long-term problem position.
