Chelsea boss Avram Grant still wants former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp to join his backroom staff.

The Daily Mail says Grant will spend the next two weeks recruiting staff to replace Jose Mourinho's backroom team.

Grant spent last season working alongside Jamie's father Harry at Portsmouth and is aware of his talents. It is thought Redknapp Jnr's good reputation within the English game appeals to Grant.
