Chelsea boss Roberto di Matteo has urged Frank Lampard to resist the interest of LA Galaxy.

The chance to follow David Beckham by ending his career in the MLS is surely tempting for Lampard.

But Di Matteo believes he still has more to offer the Premier League.

He said: "He has not suffered any major injuries and he looks after himself.

"We've seen with many players that if you live a professional life you can play on into your late 30s. He still has great timing in the box and can score goals.

"He had a good game against Italy for England in midweek. I know what Frank can do and he's in good shape as well."
