Chelsea boss Roberto di Matteo won't spare Fernando Torres' feelings if he can land a new striker signing.
The Italian hinted that he could yet put the club first and Torres second by bringing in another high-quality marksman.
He said: "I think good players can play together. I don't think it would jeopardise anyone if we bought a striker.
"We need a competitive squad, we need competition and options in different areas as well.
"I think that's important for us.
"I don't see a problem. I think they would be happy if we bought another good player."
