Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo is ready for a squad clearout in the coming weeks.
The Telegraph says Di Matteo has said he will have to reduce the size of the club's squad following the arrival of a number of expensive summer signings and with two more players expected to be acquired.
"We are learning about our new players, our young players and how they fit in and what kind of level they are at right now," Di Matteo said. "Then when we get back to England we have a lot of players at the moment and we will probably have to reduce the squad a little bit and try to work with the ones who we think will be with us some of them will go on loan again for their development and progression in their careers."
