Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will get all £60 million from Oscar's sale to Shanghai SIPG.
The London Evening Standard says the Chinese Super League club have lodged a mammoth bid for the 25-year-old, though the deal is still a long way from completion.
Conte could still ask Chelsea to block the deal if he wants Oscar to stay and help in their title bid, although the size of Shanghai's offer makes that unlikely.
Conte wants to sign a top centre half in January and has a number of targets on his wish-list, including Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk, that won't be cheap.
He is also considering making a move for a full back, while buying another midfielder was already a priority before Oscar's possible departure.
