Chelsea boss Conte: Terry fit for Man Utd

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says John Terry will be fit for Sunday's clash with Manchester United.

Terry looked in danger of missing the match after sustaining another ankle injury, which prevented him from training yesterday.

Conte said: “John is in good fitness, good shape. He trained with the team. He solved this problem with his ankle. This week he trained really well. He's available for the game. Terry is our captain, an important player.

“I'm pleased (with three at the back) because, after many games where we conceded two or sometimes three goals – I repeat, this is not right, not a good way for Chelsea, to concede so many goals – we changed the system of play.

“I think that the team took a lot of benefit from these changes. The players found the right suit with this type. More compact.

“Above all, we haven't lost our danger in offensive situations. It's important. Also, we know we must continue to work to progress under this way.

“This week I've seen the right commitment, the right work-rate for the players. I see players who trust in this system, this type of work."
