Chelsea boss Conte still keen on Torino striker Belotti

Chelsea remain keen on Torino striker Andrea Belotti.

The Daily Star says Belotti is at the top of Antonio Conte's shortlist after scoring 26 Serie A goals last season.

Chelsea have already smashed their club transfer record to sign Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata in a £70 million deal.

But Belotti's fee could be even higher after his latest contract included an £86m release clause for foreign clubs.

However, Chelsea's need is great after a blundering start to their latest title defence, losing 3-2 to Burnley on the opening day of the campaign.

Belgium international Michy Batshuayi continues to look out of place spearheading the attack.

And Belotti could be just the man to help Conte bounce back from his transfer blues, with the Italian tactician unhappy with the club's lack of spending.
