Chelsea boss Antonio Conte remains keen on Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto.
Don Balon says the £37.5m release clause in Roberto's contract is set to attract a number of European clubs.
And Chelsea are set to join the race for the 25-year-old.
The Catalan giants are understandably scrambling to hand Roberto a new contract, which will include a much higher valuation of their academy graduate.
Chelsea tried to sign the versatile midfielder last summer but instead brought in Tiemoue Bakayoko to replace Nemanja Matic.
Roberto's current deal at the Camp Nou expires in 2019.
