Chelsea are joining the battle for wantaway Juventus fullback Daniel Alves.

The Brazil international has received a two-year contract offer from Manchester City as his agents attempt to negotiate a free transfer from Juve.

However, Sky Italia says Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is also keen.

Alves is eager to continue his career in England and Conte is counting on living in London being a persuasive factor in competition with City.

The Brazil international defender helped Juve win the Double last season, but was left devastated by the manner of their Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.
