Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is eager to keep hold of Cesar Azpilicueta.
The Mirror says Conte has moved to reassure Azpilicueta that he wants him to stay at Chelsea.
Italy boss Conte sought out Azpilicueta and his Spain team mate Pedro when their nations met during Euro 2016 and said they are both part of his plans.
It comes after uncertainty around Azpilicueta who has been linked with Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Bilbao are ready to offer around £12m after being alerted that Azpilicueta may be available as Conte is likely to make changes when he takes charge this summer.
But Conte's assurances have not put off Bilbao as they look to try and take advantage of any opening to sign the highly-regarded full back.
