Chelsea boss Antonio Conte doesn't want to lose Cesc Fabregas this summer.
The London Evening Standard says Conte has told the Spain international he wants him to stay at the club and help the Blues defend their Premier League title.
It is reported he even said to Fabregas he should have played more last season, instead of limiting him to just 18 starts from their 38 games.
News that the 30-year-old is set to be given more time could hint at more players leaving.
Chelsea have already lost midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah to Watford, who signed for the Hornets for a fee of £5.5million.
And Nemanja Matic's Stamford Bridge future is also uncertain.
