Spartak Moscow boss Massimo Carrera has handed some of the credit to Antonio Conte for his side's 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Tuesday night.
The Reds were frustrated all night by the Russian outfit, who lined up in a 5-4-1 formation. Jurgen Klopp's men had 16 shots, but couldn't find the winner after coming from a goal behind.
And Carrerra has credited his former teammate for giving him tips to play against a British team.
"During the conversation we talked about Liverpool for just a couple of minutes,' Carrera told Goal.
"We more discussed the situation in our teams, personal affairs, vacation, but what he said about the British, I needed."
