Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has admitted selecting his team against Qarabag with one eye on the Blues trip to Liverpool on Saturday.
Conte's side are in Azerbaijan to take on Qarabag in the Champions League, with a win guaranteeing their passage to the knock-out rounds.
And although the Italian understands the magnitude of the occasion, he knows he must rotate his squad to keep players fresh for the upcoming weekend.
Conte said: "For sure I have to make the best decision for these games, because we are playing every three days.
"I trust all my players and it is normal to have rotation.
"I have a squad with great maturity and they know very well the importance of the game and we must have great focus to beat a good team."
