Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez will welcome back John Terry for their clash with Stoke City.

Benitez will have John Terry on the bench after two months out with a knee injury.

The Chelsea skipper has not yet played for interim boss Benitez but came through 45 minutes of an Under-21 game against Fulham this week.

Benitez said: "He can't start yet but he's available.

"It's good news for us after 16 weeks. He played on Thursday and was okay.

"He is on the list, fingers crossed He's an important player for us."
