Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez is in the dark over whether Frank Lampard is being offered new terms.

Quizzed about the uncertainty regarding Lampard's contract which expires in June, Benitez insisted he simply doesn't know.

"I am not trying to avoid the question but there are issues which the coach doesn't discuss.

"Frank is doing a great job for us."
