Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is having Palermo striker Abel Hernandez watched this season.

The 21 year-old Uruguay centre-forward has long been admired by AVB, who tried for him while in charge of Porto.

Hernandez is also being watched by Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp, who has close ties with Palermo.

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is reluctant to sell his stars in midseason - but is in no position to reject any major offer for his young striker.
