Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has not given up on landing Porto fullback Alvaro Pereira.
Uruguay international Pereira, 25, signed an extension to his contract with Porto after the move to Chelsea failed to happen.
He's now contracted to the club until 2016 but Villas-Boas remains keen on him.
