Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas believes PSG are a sign of the shifting financial power in football.
Villas-Boas admits Chelsea can't compete with the spending power of some clubs dotted around the world.
"Paris St Germain are a club with new ambitions and great financial power," he said.
"But there are only five or six clubs in the whole world who can match Chelsea in terms of history, prestige, ambition, economic stability and facilities.
"There are emerging markets in Russia, the Middle East, the USA and now China who are able to pay what we cannot.
"PSG can attract players with their money but I'm not sure whether players will respond to them as they would to a call from the most prestigious clubs."
