Chelsea boss Ancelotti: Wenger just upset because Arsenal lost

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti insists they deserved the three points after their 3-0 win at Arsenal.

A Didier Drogba double and an own goal from Thomas Vermaelen handed the Blues their fifth successive league win and ended the Gunners' 100% home record as they restored their five-point advantage at the top of the Barclays Premier League.

Arsenal had an Andrey Arshavin goal disallowed, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger blasting the decision to penalise Eduardo's challenge on Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech in the build up.

But Ancelotti said: "They (Arsenal) are upset because they lost and I think it was a foul on Petr Cech.

"We started the season believing we could win it (the league). Our objective is to stay in all the competitions until the end of the season. Then after that, if we can win things, we will try to do it.

"When I signed a contract with Chelsea, I believed we could win something."

The former AC Milan boss also chose to heap praise on Drogba's workrate.

"Drogba scored two goals and for me he did a good job," Ancelotti said. "In the second half he returned sometimes in defence in our half together with his other team-mates. His work maintained balance in our team."
