Chelsea boss Ancelotti wants Borini to stay

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to keep hold of striker Fabio Borini.

The Daily Express says Borini has been ruled out for two months after undergoing a shoulder operation yesterday and may now have played his last game for the club.

Borini has not been able to agree a new contract with the Blues and could have negotiated himself a summer move away by the time he is fit again. Lazio, Juventus and Parma are all interested in signing Borini, whom Carlo Ancelotti tipped for big things when he first arrived at Stamford Bridge as manager.

It is understood that Ancelotti would still like to keep Borini at Stamford Bridge, but the club have adopted a tough stance over the contracts they are willing to give young players and have offered him a deal worth just £18,000 a week.
