Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti doesn't believe in a UEFA conspiracy favouring Barcelona.
The Italian suggested he has sympathy for predecessor Jose Mourinho after Real Madrid's defeat by Barcelona although he did not share the conspiracy theory propounded by the Portuguese.
He said: "I can understand his disappointment because, if I have to say something about the situation, not a clear red card for Pepe.
"In a Champions League semi-final against Barcelona it is not easy to play 10 against 11. I can understand his disappointment.
"But I don't think it is a conspiracy. A lot of times, football is football. Maybe referees make mistakes. I want to think everything is okay and clear. This is my work. I want to believe that there are mistakes, referees, coaches, players but no conspiracy."
