Chelsea boss Ancelotti mocks Barcelona, Real Madrid: They have no faith in their players

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is determined to win the Champions League this season and has taunted Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Mdrid.

Ancelotti, who twice won the Champions League as manager of AC Milan, doesn't want to diminish a squad he feels is capable of challenging for Europe's top club competition. The Italian even dared suggest that rivals Real and Barcelona are spending big because they don't have full faith in their own squads.

"They must need to buy players," he said. "We are happy with our squad, it's one with experience and maybe we can continue with it the way it is now.

"Last season we did really well in the Premier League, and we have the quality and the skill to do better in the Champions League.

"We went out too early last season and we want to do better.

"It's not true that the Champions League will be more important than the Premier League this season, we consider them both the same level."
