Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti believes Manchester City are missing presence in midfield.
Ancelotti takes his Chelsea to Eastlands today.
City were the one club to beat Chelsea home and away last season, most memorably in a thumping 4-2 win at Stamford Bridge.
But much has changed even since then, not least in the way Mancini organises his side with that formidable midfield barrier of Yaya Toure, Nigel de Jong and Gareth Barry.
Some teams crave one decent holding midfielder. City have three.
"In English football you need to have strength and power as well as quality," said Ancelotti.
"They have good skills as well, and they can use someone like Milner on the wing.
"But they want to put more power in midfield and use Tevez up front with support from players like Silva."
