Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has made a mercy dash home to Italy.
The Sun says Ancelotti found out after Wednesday night's 4-0 Champions League thrashing of Atletico Madrid that his father, Giuseppe, 86, had been taken sick.
Ancelotti immediately made plans to return to the family home in Reggiolo, a town which is situated between Milan and Parma.
Assistant manager Ray Wilkins will appear at Chelsea's regular Friday Press conference.
