Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti insists he has the experience of handling any tight run-in.
The Italian has won only one championship in his managerial career, but is confident of completing the job on this occasion, despite painful memories of a missed opportunity with Juventus.
"Every season at the end of the campaign was very important for me," Ancelotti said. "We were either involved in Serie A or the semi-finals and final of the Champions League. I once lost the championship after being nine points clear with eight games to play, so you can never think you're sure to win the title.
"The table says you'll win it, but it's nothing to do with destiny. If you are better, you'll win the title.
"With Juventus in 2000 we played Perugia on the final day. We needed to win but the rain was unbelievable. We waited an hour and a half between the first and second halves, but Lazio won the title with [Sven- Göran] Eriksson.
"I am an optimist and I would like to win it. From the start of the season until the end I want to do my best, so our destiny is in our own hands."
