Nathan Chalobah was involved in Chelsea's first team squad for their Carling Cup defeat to Newcastle United.
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti included centre-half Chalobah - aged 15 years, 284 days - on the bench for the tie.
Chalobah won the U17 European Championship with England last summer.
