Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he is a target for Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. In his book, 'The Beautiful Games of an Ordinary Genius', which is being serialised in the News of the World, Ancelotti revealed his close friendship with Perez.
Ancelotti said: "There have been numerous contacts between Florentino Perez and me.
"He is a person I respect. He knows what he's doing and what he wants.
"He's a romantic, like me. We see eye-to-eye on many points. The last time we talked, he told me: 'Carlo, someday you will be my coach.' "
While Ancelotti's Chelsea have kicked off the season with three straight wins, Jose Mourinho's Real stumbled to a 0-0 draw at Real Mallorca yesterday.
