Chelsea boss Ancelotti: Florentino wants me at Real Madrid
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he is a target for Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
In his book, 'The Beautiful Games of an Ordinary Genius', which is being serialised in the News of the World, Ancelotti revealed his close friendship with Perez.
Ancelotti said: "There have been numerous contacts between Florentino Perez and me.
"He is a person I respect. He knows what he's doing and what he wants.
"He's a romantic, like me. We see eye-to-eye on many points. The last time we talked, he told me: 'Carlo, someday you will be my coach.' "
While Ancelotti's Chelsea have kicked off the season with three straight wins, Jose Mourinho's Real stumbled to a 0-0 draw at Real Mallorca yesterday.

this was before he signed for chelsea, and he didn't say he wanted to coach real, he said he respects florientino and he wants him there.
and omo* come off that rubbish, how much did mourihno spend when he arrived at chelsea??
how much did carlo spend?
use your brain man... he won the double for us, something we haven't done ever, never lost to the so called top 4 which at the time included liverpool, scored most goals in premier league history.. and all with someone else's team..
and you bash him? complete idiocy!
First Carlo was complimenting Man City, now he is flattering Perez. Wonder what his Boss thinks of all this? CFC lost more matches last season than in any of the previous 5. We managed the title with a single point against a ManU side without Tevez and Ronaldo - and a Rooney who didn't score after March 2010.
Let's be frank, the players saved his job. And, maybe the Manager's pay-offs was getting to Roman. But another early exit from the CL this season will again put a dent of CFC income, and a serious question over CA. He was brought in to win the CL, and he's got this season to do so before Jose finished re-building Madrid!
Its stupid for any true CFC fans to ever have a bad word about Jose, no other Manager has sacrificed himself for his team's sake like he did for us.
Carlo says he wants to stay at Chelsea ten years. He is a manager who sticks with a club even when things get tough.
Mourinho doesn't wait for his affect to wear off he moves on. He will not fail at Real any more than Pelligrini did. The problem is that he will need time because in that league he is up against the best team in the world managed by a man with more idea's and class than him.
Mourinho is a winner at all costs manager and that is why he will never produce a team that lives long in the memory.
He will be remembered because of his ability and charisma but at the end of the day he is not capable of allowing players free expression and only free expression produces the truly great teams.
Carlo has re-juvinated an aging side at the Bridge and prepared them for a last hurrah imagine what he could do with the great squad Real have.
