Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti says Didier Drogba should have been named PFA Player of the Year ahead of Manchester United's Wayne Rooney.
The two men have remarkably similar records this season, but Rooney edged out the Ivorian last night.
Ancelotti said: "It's very difficult to choose between Rooney and Drogba.
"Both have had fantastic seasons and Rooney is very, very important for United.
"But if it's my choice then I will choose Didier. He has given the team 32 goals and done a good job for the team.
"He has played a lot of games and has also made maybe 15 assists. This season he has been very good."
