Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti admits he has ambitions to taking the Italy job.
But he has ruled out succeeding Marcello Lippi after the World Cup.
He said: "Yes, but I won't be there after Lippi. I have a contract with Chelsea. I'll put myself forward for 2030, when Italy will win the World Cup again.
"I have studied the statistics. In the post-war period we win every 24 years and we get to the final every 12. So, in 2018 I will let someone else lose the final."
