Chelsea boss Ancelotti admits Italy ambitions

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti admits he has ambitions to taking the Italy job.

But he has ruled out succeeding Marcello Lippi after the World Cup.

He said: “Yes, but I won't be there after Lippi. I have a contract with Chelsea. I'll put myself forward for 2030, when Italy will win the World Cup again.

“I have studied the statistics. In the post-war period we win every 24 years and we get to the final every 12. So, in 2018 I will let someone else lose the final.”
