Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti admits Didier Drogba will need hernia surgery.
But he is confident Drogba will make it to the end of the season and that any procedure would not threaten his participation at this summer's World Cup.
Ancelotti said: "He's living with this problem. Sometimes he has a problem after the game but during the week he is OK.
"He doesn't need an operation now. If he has one at the end of the season he will be ready in seven days.
"It would be a small surgery."
