Chelsea battling Real Madrid for PSV prospect Elvio

Chelsea are aiming to trump Real Madrid for 14 year-old Angolan starlet Elvio do Rosario.

The People says Elvio moved to Holland seven years ago and is seen as one of Europe's brightest young stars, with PSV Eindhoven desperately trying to make him a Dutch national.

But with only refugee papers, he will be forced to move back to Angola when he is 18 unless a solution can be found.

The young striker's foster mum, Manon van Overdeek, said: "Yes I have had contact with Chelsea, but as far as I know it will be impossible for my foster son to play for the club because he is a refugee and doesn't have a passport.

"But if Chelsea want him, there might be a way of bending the rules, but we haven't put any thought into moving."
