Chelsea banned striker Didier Drogba from going to the launch of his anti-racist single, it has been revealed.

The Sun says in a move certain to further infuriate the unsettled striker, they prevented him from attending the launch of Skin - a track on which he did backing vocals with team-mate Michael Essien.

A Blues spokesman said: "It was decided that in the circumstances it would be best not to distract attention from what is a very worthy cause."
