Chelsea attacker Scott Sinclair hopes to stay with Wigan Athletic.

Sinclair insists he would have no problem committing his long-term future to Latics if both clubs were in agreement.

He told the Wigan Evening Post: "If the gaffer wants to keep me at Wigan permanently then I would definitely, definitely look into that.

"It's a great club to be at, and it looks like we'll be moving forward and doing even better over the next few years.

"I have really enjoyed my time here, despite it being difficult with me not playing.

"The gaffer has always been very supportive of me from day one, which has helped me a lot.

"And I have learnt a lot from being here and playing under him."
