Chelsea attacker Pedro says former boss Jose Mourinho was wrong to chastise Antonio Conte for revving up the crowd on Sunday.
The Manchester United manager accused Conte of 'humiliating' his team with his injury-time antics.
But Pedro told Cadena Ser: "Mourinho's reaction was exaggerated, Conte made no scornful or degrading movements. He cheered only towards the fans because we had played a great match.
"I don't know if Mou saw it as a provocation or a lack of respect, but that was not Conte's intention. He just wanted to thank the fans. We all know Mourinho and we know he often comments, but he is a great coach.
"Maybe he took the loss hard."
