Chelsea attacker Pedro feeling 'strange' after headed goal

Standing at 5ft 5inches, it's not surprising Pedro felt "strange" after scoring the winner with his head for Chelsea in Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final against Leicester.

The Spaniard proved to be an inspired substitution by Antonio Conte after he replaced Willian at the start of extra-time.

Fortunately for Pedro, Foxes goalkeeper Kasper Schmiechel completely misjudged N'Golo Kante's cross, allowing him to head home into an open net.

"It's very strange to score with the head!" said Pedro. "It's good for my confidence in the team and to help us pass to the next round of the FA Cup.

He added: "It was a very difficult game for us. It's always difficult here. They have very good players like Vardy and Mahrez and they are very good on the counter-attack.

"It was difficult for us to find the pass between the lines to Eden and Willian.

"They defended very well, pressed high and were strong in defence with guys like Maguire and Morgan. It is very difficult to win against the team, but the most important thing is we did that and passed to the next round."
