Eden Hazard insists he played well as striker in Chelsea's disastrous Champions League defeat at Juventus.

The 3-0 reverse cost Roberto di Matteo his job.

But Hazard, who played in attack ahead of Fernando Torres, said: "I am well, I tried. I played a position in which I do not usually play (centre forward), I did well.

"We lacked a goal and it was a very good game."
