Manchester United were able to trump their biggest rivals for Belgian youngster Charni Ekangamene thanks to their partnership agreement with Royal Antwerp.
The News of the World says the 15-year-old striker impressed United during a trial spell and is set to sign for them on his 16th birthday later this year.
Ekangamene has also been pursued by Arsenal, Chelsea and Ajax but Antwerp is an official feeder club for United.
