Chelsea, Arsenal target Leon Bailey turns back on Jamaica

Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey wants to play internationally for a European team.

As he is pursued by Chelsea and Arsenal this season, it's emerged the Jamaican is also keen to switch his international allegiances.

BILD says Bailey would like to play for Germany, but coach Joachim Low has turned him down believing he is in no need for another attacking talent.

Former Jamaica coach Winnie Schaefer told BILD: "I wanted to make him a national player, but the signals of the family clearly went in a different direction."

After being turned down by Low, Bailey is now likely to commit to Belgium.
