Chelsea appoint ex-striker Flo as youth coach

Tore Andre Flo is back at Chelsea, this time in the role of a youth coach.

The 39-year old Norwegian, who scored 50 goals for the Blues between 1997 and 2000, has been appointed in a full-time role to work with the Southwest London clubs youngster at the Cobham training centre and is thrilled to return and work under Jose Mourinho.

"I'm going to work with the academy this season. I was doing it part-time last season, and I am really looking forward to it," he told Chelsea TV.

"In the academy we get all the analysis and videos so it will be very interesting to look at.

"As a player I was at a lot of different clubs and most of all I was at this club so hopefully I can give the players some advice.

"I'm as excited as anyone about Mourinho. He is the one everyone wanted. There will of course be pressure but he knows how to deal with that more than anyone."
