Chelsea are angry with Arsenal for playing Olivier Giroud last night at Swansea City.

The Daily Mail says Chelsea were surprised to see Giroud playing for Arsenal at Swansea last night after a deal had been agreed verbally.

No contracts have yet been exchanged but Chelsea did not expect to Giroud coming on as a sub at Swansea. It was believed he had played his last game in Arsenal colours.

"It is a problem with these games being played so close to the deadline," said one source.

The contracts will be signed this morning and expect Chelsea to release pictures of their new signing by mid afternoon today.
