Chelsea and Tottenham keep on winning and Liverpool leave it late at Bolton

Both Chelsea and Tottenham remain unbeaten at the top of the Premiership with four wins out of four. Chelsea easily defeated Burnley 3-0 whilst Tottenham relied on a late Aaron Lennon strike deep into injury time to see of Birmingham 2-1 at White Hart Lane.

Peter Crouch gave Spurs the lead but almost immediately Lee Bowyer levelled for the visitors.

And that's the way it stayed until Lennon's effort.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard scored a late winner at Bolton who ended the game with ten men.

Twice the Wanderers took the lead through Kevin Davies and Tamir Cohen, but both times Liverpool hit back to equalise courtesy of Glen Johnson and Fernando Torres.

The turning point was the dismissal of Bolton's Sean Davis for a second yellow.

With eight minutes remaining Gerrard rifled home the winner in a 3-2 victory.

Stoke deserved their 1-0 win at home to disappointing Sunderland as Dave Kitson's 43rd-minute strike proved the difference.

Hull and Wolves shared a 1-1 draw at Molineux after the visitors took the lead through Geovanni.

But Richard Stearman earned the hosts a share of the spoils with a goal early in the second half.

There were no goals at Ewood Park as Blackburn and West Ham cancelled each other out at Ewood Park in a battle of honest endeavour if not goalmouth action.
