Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will make a new pitch for Tottenham midfield ace Luka Modric this summer. Jutarnji List says sources at both Chelsea and close to Modric say a move to Stamford Bridge is definitely ON for the Croatian playmaker.

Chelsea had multiple offers for Modric turned down last summer - and in last season's January transfer window. But with no new contract signed and Spurs on the brink of missing out on the Champions League, everything has changed for all parties involved.

Despite doubts over the identity of next season's manager, Chelsea will press on with a fresh move for Modric - which is being driven personally by Abramovich.
