Chelsea and Fiorentina agree Marcos Alonso fee

Marcos Alonso is set to swap Fiorentina for Chelsea after the two clubs agreed a fee.

Sky Sports is of the belief that Fiorentina have accepted a £24million proposal from the Blues and the 25-year-old is set to complete his move to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday morning.

The Spanish left-back has agreed personal terms with Antonio Conte's Chelsea and it is understood that the formalities of the deal only need to be finalised.

Alonso spent three years with Bolton Wanderers between 2010 and 2013 before a loan stint with Sunderland in 2014 and is now set to return to English football following an impressive 2015/16 campaign in Florence.
