Chelsea are in contact with Real Madrid for Gonzalo Higuain.
It was revealed yesterday that Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to sell the Argentina international for £12 million this summer.
Perez hopes to make room for Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero by selling the striker.
Sport says Chelsea, despite losing manager Carlo Ancelotti and football chief Frank Arnesen, have been quick off the mark to make contact with Real for Higuain.
