Valencia fullback Miguel is angling for a move to the Premiership - and possibly to Chelsea.
Chelsea boss Phil Scolari is a big admirer of the 28-year-old, who was one of his star performers when he was Portugal chief, says The Sun.
He could finally secure a big-money move next month and would fill the gap if Brazil defender Alex goes through with his threat to quit the Blues.
Miguel said: "It is good that other teams have recognised what I am doing and that they are showing an interest in me.
"I am happy here. But my style of play would suit the English league."
